ACT for NIH is a Washington, DC non-profit dedicated to increasing Federal biomedical research funding to help save lives – since there are too many patients to be patient. Our small team advocates for increased funding of the National Institutes of Health and educates Congress and the public to make increasing biomedical research funding a national priority. We also operate our sister organization, the ACT for NIH Foundation.

ACT for NIH seeks Advocacy & Operations Manager

ACT for NIH seeks an Advocacy & Operations Manager to assist with advocacy, communications, and Hill events, and help the team keep day-to-day activities on-track. The Manager also leads finance and operations and manages campaign outreach. This key position helps the ACT for NIH team maximize its effectiveness.

Successful candidates will share a passion for our cause, show initiative and creativity, have the ability to operate independently and discreetly, exhibit strong attention to detail, demonstrate excellent writing skills, and have at least two years of relevant experience. ACT for NIH is a lean and fast-paced organization, so we are looking for candidates skilled in working quickly and effectively, and who are fast learners interested in picking up additional responsibilities over time.
